Pez-a-Doodle Designs

Owned and operated by Marti Wills, Pez-a-Doodle Designs was founded at a time when Marti was having a hard time finding and acquiring the then elusive Studio G clear stamp sets and instead were finding them on ebay at ridiculous asking prices.

Taking matters into her own hands, she contacted Hampton Arts directly and things led to other things and voila! a store was born!

Pez-a-Doodle Designs was named after Marti’s little girl. When Marti was pregnant, she had a crazy craving for Pez candy (remember, those little candies that come out of Pez dispensers?). So anywho, Marti’s two boys started calling the baby Pez and when little Pezzy was born, of course Marti became the Pez dispenser! BWAHAHAHA…I love that story!

Anywho, then there’s ME!  About a year ago when I discovered the Cricut, its Messageboard and the craze, I ran across a post of someone recommending Marti for those who were still looking for Studio G stamps.  I was addicted to them!  So I wandered on over and ordered them and we went back and forth like that and Marti had jumped on over to my blog from the messageboard.  After maybe about a month or two of conversating via E-Mail, it was then that Marti put two and two together that the Catherine that she was E-Mailing and the Silly Skittles that she was talking to on Cricut were ONE AND THE SAME! BWAHAHAHAHA…yeah…so apparently, I had been E-Mailing her and messaging her thinking that she already knew we were the same person and she did not!  *LOL*

So onwards throughout the months and the “Skittles” craze happened.  Skittles…in conjunction with Silly Skittles! YAY!  That would be ME!  From a random shopping spree where I picked up a couple items that looked cute to the whole craze that began and picked up when we discovered that we could re-dye the beads with Alcohol Inks and jazz them up with glitter, Sugar & Scraps was born on Etsy.  The best part about it all, Pez-a-Doodle Designs picked up the line! 

Besides carrying the wonderful Sugar & Scraps line (which will be undergoing a little bit of a make-over and will be back in action sometime soon) Marti also carries the full line of Flower Soft starter kits, Studio G and the yummy Studio G goodies and Ranger/Tim Holtz products as well as branching out into carrying her OWN line of exclusive Pez-a-Doodle Designs stamps!
